3 fish steaks (whitefish, halibut or ocean perch) about 1 inch thick 3 teaspoons oil or margarine 2 cups soft, whole wheat bread crumbs 1 teaspoon vegetable salt 1/2 cup sesame seeds 1/2 teaspoon thyme 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Directions:
Oil baking pan with 3 teaspoons of oil or margarine. Salt each steak and place in pan. Pour 1/2 tablespoon melted butter on top of each steak. Combine bread crumbs, salt, sesame seeds, thyme and remaining butter. Spread this mixture on top of steaks.
Bake uncovered in 350º oven for about 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
