Creamy Lemon Sauce

Eat Wisconsin Fish / Creamy Lemon Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided in half)
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Methods

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat
  2. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 20 seconds
  3. Whisk in chicken broth, cooking for approximately 4 minutes
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and add in the other tablespoon of butter
  5. Slowly whisk in heavy cream
  6. Add in lemon juice, stirring continuously so the sauce doesn’t curdle
  7. Mix until well combined
  8. Add salt and pepper

 

Pour over cooked fish. Highly recommended over lake whitefish or tilapia.
